Each Quick release features a safety pin to prevent release until the pin is removed. On the 500- 6400 lb. releases, there is an inspection window where you can see that the release is properly secured. They are made to release under load.
Our trips and quick releases are proven motion picture special effects designs and are made on CNC machines to ensure quality and interchangeability.  These have been successfully employed worldwide in motion pictures, theatrical and TV productions, as well as government and industrial testing.
The models with 200 lb., 500 lb., 2,200 lb., and 6,400 lb. capacities come with heat-treated chrome-moly hooks and latches.
You can release all models, except for the 500 lb., either manually or using a squib.
The 2,200 lb. and 6,00 lb. models are also available with air actuators.

For universal use, we recommend our 500, 2200 and 6,400 pound rated releases.
The 200-pound model is specific to the entertainment industry.
